BMW’s M2 is an absolutely phenomenal car. Critics, for the most part, have had nothing but great things to say about it. The M2 boasts excellent styling, quality design, and performance that makes you tingle. The team at Dahler don’t agree with the last point, and so they’ve come up with this…
On the outside, it looks like a normal M2. Sure, there seems to be something mysterious regarding the bigger diffuser, as well as the addition of a pair of front splitter wind deflectors. Maybe inside the cabin will give a few more clues? Nope, completely stock. It isn’t until you open up the bonnet that you find what they’ve done…..and it is absolutely flabbergasting.
Mahler has somehow managed to squeeze the BMW M3 S55 engine into the smaller engine bay of an M2. What this means is that you now have an M2 with an output capability of 397kW of power, and a staggering 730Nm of torque! The result of this is a 0-100 km/h time under 4.0 seconds. The team didn’t stop there. They’ve also given the M2 adjustable coilovers, 400mm callipers, and 21″ rims. This car is the epitome of an understatement.
